Because of the nature of our products, we do not accept returns or exchanges unless the item you purchased is defective. If you receive a damaged or defective item, please contact us at email@example.com with details and photos of the product, the box and the defect within 4 days of arrival. Once it has been approved by Golden August, you can send the item you consider defective to:

Upon receipt of the returned product, we will fully examine it and notify you via e-mail, within a reasonable period of time, whether you are entitled to a refund or a replacement as a result of the defect. If you are entitled to a replacement or refund, we will replace the product or refund the purchase price, using the original method of payment.
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a shop credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received the credit will be issued
If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and they will find out about your return.
*occasionally specific greens may not be available after an order has been placed for reasons out of our control (a farm having a poor crop or other issues). If this should happen we will substitute with your permission to the next closest item or refund for that portion of the order.*
